- Do you need to trim the candle wick before each use? Yes! Trim the wick to 1/8 inch before each use to reduce smoking. A candle that smokes may have carbon build up (looks like a black ball) on the wick. This carbon is what will smoke.
- How long can I burn my candle? Do not burn a candle over four hours at a time. This will allow the wax to cool and for the container to not over heat.
- Why does it look like there are wet spots on the side of the candle jar? This is called "wetting" and it's caused by the expanding and contracting of the wax when the temperature changes from warm to cold. It can happen during shipping.
